PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Complete HVAC renovation of 13 Research Laboratories. Reconfiguration work to one of the existing air handling system and included a new outdoor dog house, replacement of chilled water and steam coils with an addition of a new glycol heat recovery loop to capture exhausted building heat and redirect the heat for use of tempering incoming outdoor air required for space ventilation. An extension of the building's direct digital control system was instrumental to this heat recovery application. All phases of this work were performed in the active research facility with minimal impact to laboratory occupants.
