Keurig Green Mountain Innovation Center
This 34,000 square foot, LEED-certified research and development facility transformed from an existing non-related manufacturing plant. An open collaborative environment challenged the team to ensure that comfort, noise, efficiency, and functionality were foremost in the finished facility. Every step of the way, our team worked with the General Contractor, Architect and Engineer to ensure the fluidity of the process matched the expectations of the project team.
Renovation of an old barn into a modern distillery process plant. Installed systems included heating, ventilation, domestic well water and sanitary drainage. The process system includes piping to support a steam boiler, pot still, mash tank, and multiple fermenters.
Vermont Hard Cider
Project included engineering, installation and service of a new chilled-water plant that services the production line. This includes a new chiller, buffer tanks, and multiple temperature-control systems. It also marks the first time Vermont Hard Cider used VFDs in its chilled-water process. Vermont Mechanical has provided various other service repairs and installations for Vermont Hard Cider over the years, including compressed air and steam systems, HVAC, processed water systems, piping installations for new tanks, heat exchangers, fermenters, alarms, and scavenging systems.
