The expansion to the existing store added a new supermarket (grocery/bakery sections), making this Vermont’s first Walmart Supercenter. The new construction totaled 26,200 square feet, bringing the store’s footprint to over 93,000 square feet. Vermont Mechanical provided all the plumbing and gas systems for the new and renovated facility.
Vermont Mechanical was responsible for engineering, installing, and servicing new mechanical and plumbing systems for an approximately 35,000 square-foot historical building. During the process, the building was updated to meet the current codes and standards while retaining its historical character. After the design and installation of many fit-ups, it now houses medical office spaces, office spaces, retail locations, and restaurants.
