Commercial Kitchen Mechanical Systems
Commercial kitchens are among the most demanding environments in any facility. High temperatures, strict sanitation standards, and continuous food production call for mechanical systems that are reliable, efficient, and built for heavy use. From ventilation and refrigeration to specialized preparation equipment, every component must work together to support a safe and productive kitchen.
At Vermont Mechanical, we focus exclusively on commercial mechanical systems, giving our team the experience needed to support complex kitchen environments. Since our founding in 1988, we have helped organizations in the Burlington area and beyond design and install the infrastructure that keeps professional kitchens running smoothly.
We manage permitting as part of the process and coordinate closely with other contractors on the jobsite to get equipment integrated properly with your building’s broader mechanical systems.
Supporting Commercial Kitchens Across Multiple Industries
Commercial kitchens vary widely depending on the facility they serve. Our team works with organizations across a range of industries to install mechanical systems that meet the specific needs of each environment.
K–12 Schools
School kitchens must produce large volumes of meals on tight schedules while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards. We install systems that support efficient meal preparation while standing up to the daily demands of busy cafeterias.
Universities and Colleges
Higher education dining operations often include multiple kitchens, food service areas, and high-capacity production facilities. Our team helps campuses install mechanical systems that support consistent performance across these large and complex environments.
Hospitals
Healthcare kitchens operate under strict regulatory requirements and must deliver meals reliably every day. We provide mechanical systems that support food safety, sanitation, and consistent operation in medical facilities.
Elderly Care Homes
Senior living communities depend on reliable meal service for residents. Our installations prioritize dependability, safety, and ease of operation for staff working in these kitchens every day.
Hotels and Resorts
Hospitality kitchens often support restaurants, banquet facilities, and large events. We install equipment that helps chefs and kitchen staff maintain efficiency and consistent performance during periods of high demand.
