Blanchard Block

Vermont Mechanical was responsible for engineering, installing, and servicing new mechanical and plumbing systems for an approximately 35,000 square-foot historical building. During the process, the building was updated to meet the current codes and standards while retaining its historical character. After the design and installation of many fit-ups, it now houses medical office spaces, office spaces, retail locations, and restaurants.

Cardigan Mountain School

Vermont Mechanical provided heating, plumbing and mechanical services to the new 13,000 square foot student dorm and faculty housing. The dormitory houses 24 students (12 dorm rooms) and consists of four faculty apartments (3-three bedroom and 1-two bedroom).

Champlain Mill, Waterworks

Vermont Mechanical provided all engineering and installation associated with the complete renovation and reopening of a new restaurant in the historic mill building. Our work involved complete mechanical and plumbing systems for the open-floor dining spaces, the bar/lounge area, and the complete back of the house spaces, including the kitchen.

Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital

Worked on R Tower 4th Floor Nursing Unit, Parc Rehabilitation Facility & Short Stay Unit.

Copley Hospital

Vermont Mechanical provided the plumbing and mechanical fixtures to this 19,560 square foot surgical suite. The renovation included three new operating rooms, one procedure room, central sterile and processing, 12 pre-operative/post-operative beds, and new lockers. The project also included educational/break area, renovated infusion suite, and refurbishment of an elevator.

Dartmouth College Visual Arts Center

The entire mechanical system for this 105,000 square-foot facility for the academic departments of Studio Art and Film & Media Studies was built using a fully coordinated 3-D package created and administered by Vermont Mechanical. The facility contains teaching and production studios, classrooms, dark rooms, exhibition space, a screening room, theaters, and administrative offices.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center

Worked on Outpatient Surgery Center & Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Dorset Street Animal Hospital

This renovation included major infrastructure upgrades to transform the existing office building into a fully operational veterinary hospital. The scope featured new HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems throughout the facility, including ductwork, exhaust fans, heat pumps, medical gas piping, and ventilation solutions designed to support healthcare-grade indoor air quality.

GSA Border Station

Vermont Mechanical performed engineering, installation, and mechanical and plumbing systems service for a new 28,000 square-foot border station to house 50 agents. This project was the first building engineered and installed by Vermont Mechanical in which the offices were heated and cooled entirely using geothermal heat pumps, without site fossil-fuel backup.
